Chassis Painting

Was going to brush paint the chassis, but I am lucky enough to have a fully equiped workshop. So decided to take it outside into the yard and spray it using my spray gun. Was lots quicker and gives a much better finish.

Now all primed and waiting for the brooklands green top coat

Saturday 18th October 2008

At last the big day arrived. Rented a large luton van and set off for a short thrash down the A1 to the GBS factory. Well I say thrash more like 50-60mph maximum (not kidding, 55 plate van as well).

Arrived at the factory with plenty of time to spare. Kit stacked up ready and waiting for loading.


Richard of GBS helped load the van up and tick the parts off
